"Defense. You cannot win giving up 40+ shots a night, and that is what this years' REDMEN are doing."

"Matt Ginsburg, Senior Captain, tallied up 2 goals in his debut as a left wing as the REDMEN defeated Andover 3-2. Ginsburg, regularly a defenseman, came through in the clutch in the final minute to break a 2-2 tie. Andover tied it up on a goal with just 1:30+ left in the third."

"In a game in which the play was wide open, the Danvers Falcons and Tewksbury REDMEN went toe to toe in a tough, hard fought game. Unfortunately for the REDMEN, the outcome would be an unfavorable one. Danvers notched up the only goal of the game during this matinee at Janas Rink. Sophomore goaltender Bill Fabiano had an outstanding game, as did every REDMEN skater."

"Down 2-0 going into the third, the REDMEN regrouped and handed the Rangers a heart-breaking loss as the REDMEN have now won two in a row! Late in the 3rd period, Senior Captain Sean Walsh scored the game-winning goal on a short-handed chance to complete the comeback. All goals scored by the REDMEN came in the third, as sophomore Shawn Scott got things going for the REDMEN, making it a 2-1 Methuen game. Methuen responded, however, to regain their previous two-goal cushion at 3-1. Thats the last piece of good news the visiting Rangers would produce that night. Behind the net, Senior Captain Dan Fratalia found fellow classmate Ryan Fitzmaurice who buried the puck in the net to make it a one-goal game once again. Later on, Fratalia tallied up yet another goal of his own this season, to tie the game up at three a piece. Going down a man late in the third for "Too many men on the ice," the REDMEN looked to be satisfied to escape this contest with just a tie. However, on a shorthanded breakaway, Senior Captain Sean Walsh came through in a big way as he flipped the puck over the Ranger goalie's shoulder for the game-winner."

"Not exactly what you expect from the defending D-1 Champs........ 0-8-0 start....... It'll take a lot to make it to a .500 record....... with only one home game, a blowout at the hands of Billerica, perhaps the REDMEN can respond to their upcoming homestand........"
